Raving Ramen

As we know, Japan is the land of all sorts of great food including the infamous Ramen.

There are several types of soup bases for Ramen – shoyu (soy sauce), miso, tonkotsu (pork stock)… to name a few.

Have tried several Ramen places around Tokyo including Ippudo, Gogyo, and others. Among the lot, my favourite pick is still Ichiran Ramen which uses tonkotsu (yummy!).

At Ichiran Ramen, you get to customise the taste of your Ramen to some point using a form (available in English) – e.g. how strong the taste of your soup is, spicy, garlic, fat content in meat, oiliness of the soup, etc.

Truly an experience to eat a quick and good one. Ichiran is scattered all around Tokyo and can easily be found on Google maps using Kanji (一蘭).
